Its nice and cosy, located in the very center and even though if the windows are closed the noise from the streets doesn't bother you.
I had to wait for about 5 min for hot water to start running in the morning.
located near the city center, clean room
unprofessional and unfriendly staff, modest breakfast, room located directly to the main noisy road, cleaning lady in the room before you need to empty the room
The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and modern.
It was very noisy from the bar next door on Saturday night.
It was great experience to stay in Divan and be listening Vasfiye ( the boss) :) Perfecet location perfect hospitality perfect friendship. If we have a chance to to Sarajevo agaim we ll definetly choose the Divan We would send million of thanks to Vasfiye ( the boss) for her kind, helpful and great behave. Amazing hotel amazin PERSON.Thanks for everything...
The lady in charge of the hotel is both helpful and friendly. She is enthusiastic in recommending local and economical restaurants and sights to go. If you talk to her more, she will even suggest you some unique spots to go such as a path leading up to the top of Sarajevo with a stunning overview of the city. If you choose one hotel to live in Sarajevo, B&B Divan is definitely the best choice.
The hotel is in a great location, set in the old town and within walking distance to cafes, bars, shops, sights and restaurants. It is also on the tram line so easy to get to sights outside of the village area and the bus station. The staff are very helpful, speak excellent English and will assist you with booking tours and making travel arrangements. The hotel seems relatively new - very comfortable and excellent value for money.
As you are in the centre it can be a bit noisy at night. This didn't bother me but for those who want a quiet nights sleep might want to take this into consideration. While I did enjoy my stay there were a couple of things that could be improved. I was in the mixed dorm and there was just one power outlet which didn't work and the heating was either not working or not turned on - you could feel a notable difference from the reception area to the room. The shower curtain and one of the two toilet brushes has seen better days.
B&B Divan was a great place to stay. The location is perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful with everything. I would totally recommend this B&B / hostel to anyone wanting comfortable and affordable accommodation in Sarajevo. I was staying in the 6 bed dorm which was very clean. Staff were amazing!
The location at the heart of Baskarsija, with its lively bars, streets and places selling great Cevapcici. Stunning views of the mountains. We spent most of our 3 week on the beautiful Croatian coast and this was the best view we had from any room.
The music outside is very loud. One of the busiest streets for bars in Baskarsija is there and the nightclub went on until 3. It was great fun to be in, but not so good to sleep next to.
Posibility of cancelation
A very nice hotel just a few steps to old town "bascarsija" modern and clean rooms. We have special thanks to nice staff especially to owner of hotel. She helped us so much to discover the secret of Sarajevo. We strongly recommend Divan Hotel.
very nice location friendly and helpful owner
The location is really good.
The parking site is a bit far (2 blocks that in raining days seems like 5...) and the breakfast could be better.
Overall fine for a simple hotel in a Great location, no any issue to mention. If we would be back in Sarajevo would stay there.
Nothing to mention, breakfast very simple.
The family atmosphere, comfort and the size of the room. Great for intermediate stop,The staff / receptionists are friendly The location was excellent for our needs. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others
Hard to unload the bags on the street, no parking for the car
Location is excellent.
Too noisy! Parking is far away. There was no water from 9 PM to 5 AM in August, very inconvenient.
